Rise of the Dragons

In time immemorial, before the First Men deigned to rule the land, when the Cursed Tongue remained on their lips, and Elves still walked as equals among them, there was chaos. Amongst the unextinguishable fire of entropy, the dragons pacified them all. Flying over the lands and retreating the fire with his icy breath, the great King Inver rose, and with him flew his queen, Areksa.

The Rise of the Dragons, or simply the Dragonrising, is the name used for the arrival of dragons and their conquest of the continent of Yaleakasardia that established the Dragonreign. The Dragonreign was later dissolved following the Dragon War which caused the death of Inver and Areksa as well as the wider extinction of dragons.

History

Not much is known about the nature of Yaleakasardia prior to the rising of dragons, save for the establishment of the Barbarian kingdom by Yandal, as well as the establishment of a continent-wide empire by Naderān, which came into conflict with Yandal's kingdom and was defeated.
