Thunder Prism
Thunder prisms are hex crystal devices that store, amplify, and transmit sound and images using a combination of magic and voltaic energy. Illusion magic has always been able to project sounds and images, but modern Maharlitech and the Hedron Network has given that power to the masses. News and entertainment now travels instantaneously throughout all the Concordant lands.
Thunder prisms make karaoke night possible, so I'm thankful for that. But some idiots blast music on their ident-a-hedrons wherever they go! They only make that mistake once when I'm around!
Storing music and viusal illusions in crystals is as old as magic itself. Thunder prisms were first developed as weapons of war. They were originally crystals that detonated with thunder and lightning when shattered.
After a chance encounter a few years ago, the artificers Of the Forge the Spark and the dwarven thunder smith Cumvel Coyilen put their minds together to reinvent the technology. They refined the destructive devices into mechanisms for replaying sound instead of exploding with it. They created thunder prism microphones to amplify voices for singing instead of as a weapon.
The technology has revolutionized communication and entertainment wherever the hedron towers reach.
Uses for Thunder Crystals
Karaoke machines, mobile sound units, and music broadcasting
Crystal microphones for public events, singers, rallies, and sermons
Ident-a-hedron attachments for personal music and sound recording

I couldn't've made the Thunderprism without Cumvel. Wouldn't've been a Lunapalooza without the Thunderprism projectors on the Blackjack. Wouldn't've been a Silversong moon without that first festival. The Thunderprism already made the future, and I'm not sure an apocalypto could stop it, now
Yes! The Thunderprism is the future! Currently proselytized across the zone by its one and only son, DJ Spunk!
Lol, I wasn't ready to write about DJ Spunkify yet. I have to get all the ground work ready first. Maybe later this year or next year!
