Exoginothropy

Exoginothropy is marked by extreme and painful mutations by those already marked with aberrant lycanthropy. Under the light of the full Silversong Moon, they grow twisted humps or extra bone-bending limbs. In advanced cases, they grow extra heads at random spots that scream for autonomy. Most who suffer from the less severe version never trigger the more extreme stage.

Though the Silversong Moon is mostly associated with music, but it also amplifies the powers of psychics and psions, a power linked to the Far Realm. While not inherently evil or aberrant, psychic power does attract the attention of Elder Evils.

A side effect of the curse is that during the rest of the month, those with exoginothropy appear to be in their physical prime. The aged and infirm present at the phase of life when they were the healthiest and happiest. Despite the danger, some seek to receive the curse on purpose.

Revenge was already most of the way gone when I beat bosshood out of him, and his blues had all been touched by the Far Realm before we got to the moon. We also got some werebats around here too so we've had a few scares. The Church of Jenny works hard to find and cure anyone showing any signs, but we're all a little worried we'll get flying eyeball warped gobbos with tentacles coming out of every orifice spreading madness across half the facet.
