White Guard

The White Guard are those that defend the White Keep, and enforce its rules. Anyone can join the White Guard, casting aside previous loyalties and oaths in the name of peace. They undergo a harsh training regime to make sure they are up to the task, and even after they have been iniated they must train to keep in shape constantly. They wear Bluesteel armour, polished and painted to get a white finish. This is a donation from the Bluestar family, as a sign of their respect and willingness to settle differences instead of fighting.
This has allowed the White Guard to fully kit out their armour with a variaty of Runestones, making them ready for any situation. The captain of the White Guard is traditionally called the White King, despite the title not meaning anything. No one knows why the tradition started but many think it is because the captain has absolute authority within the keep, acting as its king.
