Silver Mountains
The Silver Mountains consist of 8 mountains, Crestfall Summit and Summers Peak being the two largest. To the south-west is Razorwind Ridge consisting of four mountains. To the south of Summers Peak is the much smaller mountain First Landing. The last mountain is north of Crestfall Summit and has yet to be named.
The Silver Mountains is where the Larrentell family first decided to settle after they saw the mountains beauty in the summer sun. They gleamed like silver in the sun, and was aptly named after that. Later it was found out it is due to the high concentration of iron in the mountains they get their shine in sunlight.
The mountains are rich in iron and coal, with the rare vein of silver and gold. Crestfall Summit was found to be especially rich in iron, making mining it easy. Razorwind Ridge was first deemed barren and resoureless, but after digging deeper than you normally would, a hopeful miner found it had large internal pockets of coal, and even some Dragonstone.
