Talagaad Longsights
The Talagaad Longsights are an infamous State Troop regiment. Having largely been recruited from poachers, brigands, and the occassional skilled hunter, the Longsights count many expert marksmen amongst their number. However, unlike many regiments of the capital they are severely undermanned, under-equipped, and poorly paid.
Their uniforms are often torn and shabby, their armour ill-fitting and flecked with rust, and their sword blades nicked and dull. It is sometimes claimed that the State Troops marshalled from Talagaad more closely resemble a band of criminals in uniform than the glistening soldiery of Talabheim.
In the back alley taverns of the docks, members of the Longsights socialise with friends and family who belong to the very gangs and syndicates that proliferate across the city. The regiment frequently turns a blind eye to the illicit trading, trafficking, and transgressions that take place under their watch. With the exception of the most brazenly violent and intensely Sigmarite of activities, the many misdeeds of the criminal underworld go ignored.
