Talabheim 11th
'Knarlrotters'
Recently, the Talabheim 11th has occupied the porttown under the leadership of Hunter Lord Leonard Van Obelmann (page 27). Though the 11th is more professional, efficient, and well-equipped than the Longsights, many of its troopers consider the Talagaad posting beneath them and display a visible disdain for its people. This attitude has earned them the nickname the Knarlrotters from the populace, and their tendency to bully, cajole, and harass the locals has created a somewhat febrile atmosphere in the town.
Whether to protect or possess, the Longsights consider the town and its people their domain, and seeing the treatment meted out by the 11th has only generated greater friction between the two regiments. Although tensions have not yet come to blows, it seems increasingly inevitable. Though they are supposed comrades in arms, it wouldn’t take much for the soldiers of the Longsights to find themselves siding with dockland gangs and rioting citizens against the Knarlrotters of Talabheim.
