Sheru
Sheru is a major god who existed beyond the world in a place of endless chaos. They slipped through a crack in reality and found Kaigara . Seeking peace after endless eons of chaos, Sheru created a bubble of time and space around Kaigara so it could exist changelessly for countless eons.
They empowered many of the spirits of the land to become minor gods in their own right. Known as the Kodomo , they helped Sheru shape and maintain Kaigara .
Eventually, restlessness crept in, causing numerous disruptions to break the perfection of the land. Sheru labored to undo the damage and prevent future abnormalities, but the greater the effort to keep order, the more cracks appeared in the foundation, until Sheru’s body split open and Yokubo emerged. The corpse melted and ran down to mix with the water, where it was reborn as Kurai
