Giants
Giants are a primitive race of men native to the mountains of Grundd.
They're a tall, powerful and swarthy people that earn their name from their inability to stop growing. A Giant will only stop growing after its own weight cannot be supported by its muscle.
While sapient, they are incredibly unintelligent and are known to barely have a functional language amongst each other. They are dangerous due to their ravenous appetites, and unlike most humanoid races, usually live in very small families or enclaves rather than tribes or towns.
Basic Information
Anatomy
True to their name, Giants are gigantic and tower at varying heights. The shortest of giants are about ten feet tall, but they do not truly stop growing in height until their own strength fails to carry their strength. As a result, Giants have a lot more muscle than humans -- even for their height.
This ferocious strength can lead a giant to level buildings with one mighty swing of the limb.
They are similar to humans, but usually have prominant guts due to their ravenous appetites. They often have prominent brow ridges and, while they grow hair, often shave their beards or hair 'cuz the foodies gets stucks'.
Endlessly Hungry
All of their motivation is carried in getting food. They always eat themselves fat to the point of immobility. This ravenous appetite makes them difficult in dealing with diplomatically, as their desire is always grounded in eating things -- meat and mortal flesh above all else.Constant Growth
Giants do not stop growing. They continue growing as they eat; and must continue eating in order to support their quick and rapid growth. As a result, many giants wind up stunted due to occasional periods of starvation. They develop limping limbs and awkward postures as their sturdy bones struggle to maintain their heavy weight. The healthiest of giants are true terrors to behold; as they've managed to maintain their endless appetite in spite of their exponential growth and hunger. To date, the tallest giant is said to have reached 50 Meters tall, but permitting they've the food, they can grow larger.Growth Rate & Stages
Giants are the size of a grown man by the time they're a toddler, and they rapidly grow after that point.
Giant families rarely stay together for very long. Children are reared for five years at the very most, and even then it's not all uncommon for them to be thrown from their homes at a very young age.
Savage Childhoods
Younger giants form ravenous warbands that work together to bring down larger prey or sack settlements. They form small, roving warbands that step in and out of Grundd to pillage and plunder villages or drag giant beasts to their dens for massive feasts. Eventually, a Giant's hunger will outgrow their tribe's ability to support them; leading to them leaving to live their life in isolation.Solitary Adults
Outside of a few wild exceptions, most Giants typically live in isolation or very small families. This is because of two things; they're far more than capable of outmatching anything that they would hunt or eat, and can even plunder smaller settlements full of men on their own. And perhaps, most importantly, they will often quarrel over food.Dietary Needs and Habits
Giants eat a hearty diet packed with as much calories as they can. Much of their diet is made of calcium and protein; bones that they crunch to dust with their strong molars and meat that they tear apart with their mighty jaws. Their strong guts can handle anything save for the strongest of poisons.
Despite that, their keen sense of smell leads to them being rather fond of making attempts at cooking. Giants will often roast things over open fires to capture that taste and smell -- often alive, much to the behest of their victims.
A giant must eat to match its rate of growth, lest its body will be far too frail to prevent it from weathering away beneath its own weight.

The Height Rights
You downies callin' it da height rights. Bigga Betta. Noffin' fancy 'bout it. Bigga betta!Often barked out as bigga betta by the Giants; they do hold a very distinct form of heirarchy that's based entirely on one's height. If something is larger, then it's surely more dangerous and much more deserving of respect. Giants will never hunt, harm, or hurt things that they see as talla than themselves. Conversely, if something is smaller than a giant, then they assume that they're owed everything by virtue of being taller.
Average Intelligence
While notoriously stupid, giants do hold the capacity to learn. This is because the only motivation they have is related to eating something.
They're smart enough to understand the fundamentals of tool crafting and clothing.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Giants have a very keen sense of smell and hearing for their height, but are notoriously blind.
"Just stand still and stop breathing and they won't even see a thing." - Old saying regarding a giant's sight.

Naming Traditions
Giants often have very simple names that are chosen based off their own preference -- seeing how it's very rare for a parent to name their child.
Names are often sounds that they find amusing or enjoyable to say, and thus it's rather variable; common Giant names include Thok, Gruk, Grutt, Grik, Krick, Krak, or other very similar sounds.
There is no gender separation in giant naming conventions; it is all based off their own personal amusement.
