Lua
Several nomadic tribes came together about 130 years post-fragmentation, seeking refuge from rapidly developing societies. They shared similar views and cultures and eventually converged as the Luan Tribes. Although the tribes that settled in the area rarely interacted with each other, they did so when outside forces threatened their lifestyle. When Altonia attacked, for example, all twelve settling tribes pushed back. To a degree, however, they are only lucky that the other two neighboring countries weren't expansionists.
After the Rising, Lua's defense against the Risen ensured the survival of north Visismolia. Adept in unconventional combat, many Luan fighters could easily handle the Risen, and they persisted even today. Despite being an undeveloped region, Lua is yet to fall to the Risen.
Culture
Luan culture centers around nature spirituality and isolationism. They do not have any interest in expanding beyond their territory and allow no exception for nations encroaching on their land. Luans believe in giving back to nature and abhor those that only take. They are fiercely territorial.
Military
All Luans are trained in combat with some form of blade or bow. Though there are many different clans with different preferences, there is no designated military. Every young adult in Lua can fight in some way.
Religion
Lua has no organized religion in its borders, but its people do believe in a form of animism. They believe all nature is sacred and to take from it sparingly. They pray for the animals and plants they eat but are ruthless towards opponents who fight with greed in their hearts. If one were to ask a Luan why they won the war against Altonia or why they can fight against the Risen, they would say it's because victory does not come to those that merely covet.
Foreign Relations
Lua has no interest in other nations as long as they don't trouble them, which has given them a relatively peaceful time since Wescia formed. Xocrin and Wescia, by principle, never expanded beyond their means. Thus, their only enemy was Altonia, which is no longer an issue as Visismolia came into being and promptly made a non-aggression pact.
