Crea Cartwright

Crea is the Etched Ember Whisperer in charge of Cecil's Hotel in Toun. She is ambitious, crafty, and inwardly cruel while being outwardly bubbly and friendly.

She has been placed in charge of Cecil's Hotel, the only place in Toun that is open to outsiders.

She portrays the town as a semi-monastic affair, trying to keep the townsfolk silent when around the players. Secrecy is paramount to the Mines operations.

Crea was born into The Etched, and wholeheartedly believes in their ethos and edicts. She rose quickly through the ecclesiastical ranks until she was entrusted with Cecil's Hotel, the only outward face of the cult.

    Class Features



    • Cunning Strike (DC14): Crea has come up with clever ways to use her Sneak Attack feature.
      • Poison: Cost: 1d6 ; Crea adds a toxin to her strike, forcing the target to make a Constitution saving throw.

      • Trip: Cost: 1d6 ; If the target is Large or smaller, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or have the Prone condition.

      • Withdraw: Cost: 1d6 ; Immediately after the attack, Crea moves up to half her Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.

    • Cunning Action: Crea can do the following as a Bonus Action: Dash, Disengage, or Hide.

    • Sneak Attack: Crea knows how to strike subtly and exploit a foe's distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 5d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack roll if you have Advantage on the roll and the attack uses a Finesse or a Ranged weapon.

    • Steady Aim: Crea can use a Bonus Action to give herself advantage on an attack roll as long as she is not going to move that turn.

    • Uncanny Dodge: When Crea can see her attacker, she can use a reaction halve her damage taken, rounding down.

    • Evasion: You can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain dangers.

    • Weapon Mastery: Crea's weapons training gives her the Mastery Porperties of Daggers and Hand Crossbows
      • Dagger mastery, Nick: Allows Crea to use her off-hand weapon as part of her attack action as long as it has the Light property.

      • Hand Crossbow Mastery, Vex: A hit against a target grants the next attack roll against that target advantage.
