Infrastructure
The Centre of the town is built inside the hollowed out stump (Nicknamed "The Hollow" by residents.) of an ancient tree. The tree was long dead by the time the town was esablished.
Tall Wood's town centre is a pleasant place, it is well sheltered from the elements and lit with many a hearth-fire. It is made up of 5 levels, going from the bottom up we have: The Root Markets, Notch Street, Timber Hall,The Upper District and The Mayoral Hall. For more Info, look at Districts.
The Average House and Farmstead in Tall Woods is built out of a portion of the Lumber that the town does not export and either a stone hearthfire or an Iron Great Stove, depending on the wealth of the individual.
The Town is built in a circular layout with The Hollow laying in the centre. The main road (Notch Street.) runs from the East end of town to the West end right through The Hollow. A river runs from North to South on the East side of The Hollow. Along the main road a small Tavern and Inn called The Roost Tavern lays, it offers food, drink and bed to travellers and residents alike. On the Outskirts of the Town lay the many crusial farmstead's that keep the town fed for most the year.
Sitting just on the bank of The River that runs allow the West side of The Hollow, restled inside a large collection of Bushes, is The Canopy. This Semi-"Illegal" trade hub deals in Restricted goods and Information.
