Dorian Icequill
Dorian Icequill is an elf writer, scholar, and historian based in Ironholt's capital. When he was young, his family was contracted by the Silverwind Guild in Ironholt for assistance developing metals that retained their ductility when extremely cold. This resulted in several decades of his childhood taking place around Ironholt's metallurgy laboratories. He grew enamored with the culture, especially its sagacious stories. When he came of age, he returned to Ironholt and took up roles within the academic community. Dorian is known for his extensive knowledge of Ironholt’s history and his dedication to preserving its oral traditions.
He is the current romantic partner of Thrainn Frostmane. In recent years, Dorian has found a quieter, more enduring love with Thrainn than either of them expected. Their relationship is one of mutual respect and understanding, with Dorian providing Thrainn a sense of stability and grounding amidst the chaos of his duties. Dorian often accompanies Thrainn on his campaigns, chronicling his deeds and ensuring his legacy is preserved for future generations.
Dorian is currently working up the confidence to submit his own sagas of Thrainn and others to Ironholt's literary cannon.
