Concordian

The Concordian's are a group of humans who settled on the planet of Avenos. They are descended from a group on Earth called New Horizon Project. They are taught to value Intelligence and Cooperation.  

History

  The New Horizon Project was a global initiative to gather together people from all backgrounds, and settle on a new planet where they would build a society based on cooperation and agreement. They wanted to escape war and the nationalism that was dividing Earth. The members of the Project boarded three ships designed for several centuries of travel. The great ships were The Harmony, The Fellowship, and The Concord. They left earth in 2065, and remained in contact with Earth for a time, but their last messages from their home planet only discussed the Solar War until going silent in 2075.        Only the Concord survived the journey. While traveling a culture of obedience and order developed. The Concordians put great value on education and technological ability. Their society built it self around a meritocratic hierarchy which formed a benevolent technocratic regime. During the year 2370 they found the planet of Avenos fit their needs quite well after they received communications from Cynian scientists. They settled on the planet in the year 2379. Since then they have largely maintained their ideas of order and cooperation. Most Concordians know where they stand in society and want value their place in the order. Concordians are raise to be content with their place but also to have a desire to rise to the level of their competence. They know what is expected of them.
