Zemi and Valerian have echanged letters for some time.     

Hi Mr. Gore, You has been gon for a little while. I hope we can have tea when you come back. I have been good. I am thinking that my family is the village like you said. It is nice. I have come up with some convosashen topics. We can talk about the other fish you spotted in the lake when you got my goldfish. We can talk about your trip you has been on. Maybe we can talk about you taking us kids somewhere through the cool red gem in the rock?     Also I am confused why your room is in the basement. Together they have:  

• They met when Valerian was younger, there to kill the queen, but barely.
• Spent evenings in iolet's Garden together: Drank wine, stargazed, connected over lost parents, and Valerian walked circles around her, describing his type.
• Valerian realised the princess was the princess at the Draconas Ball. They danced, Valerian stumping all the nobles. 
• Valerian went toe to toe with Lillith's personal member of the seven, and came to an egreement with Grester to let Lillith leave with them, and showed Lillith that he was not a wood elf...
• Valerian found Lillith dead in the Sigian, and carried her out through the flames. "Next time you're lying like this I hope its alive and with me"
• Valerian sat with her while they played the piano.
• Valerian cupped Lillith's cheek in his hellscape when he had to decide whether or not to kill his allies. 
• They spent time together in Estorra, and Lillith fell asleep on his shoulder at the pier.
• They spent an evening together in a barn in Estorra, intimate, a first for both of them. They made some kind of connection, together but not.
