Welcome to Triadorim

Introduction

The world of Triadorim consists of three distinct continents: Estalis, Occalis, and the so-called "New World." These continents are vastly unique, each with its own diverse races, cultures, and regions. The world is ancient, with cities that have commonly existed for thousands of years and empires so old that some believe they were created by the gods themselves. The land is filled with mysteries—of its founding, history, and especially the New World. Despite lying at the center of the world, the New World holds countless enigmas, remaining largely unmapped. Archaeological evidence suggests the existence of an ancient civilization there that mysteriously vanished. Yet, despite its ancient heritage and established nations, Triadorim remains a perilous world. The dense magic permeating the land has given rise to dangerous monsters, spirits, and the undead, making travel outside of prepared caravans or parties a treacherous endeavor. Certain regions are aspected to specific magical elements, rendering places like the Barrens inhospitable for most creatures, while other areas are fiercely contested for their rich magical resources.

Geography

Triadorim is predominantly a wet world, with approximately 80% of its surface covered by water. This abundance of water makes the planet a "paradise" for life, offering plentiful arable land, food, and suitable climates that allow life to flourish. However, the oceans present their own dangers. They are home to countless monstrous creatures, treacherous currents, and, according to some legends, even gods. Sailing outside of established trade routes is a perilous affair, undertaken only by the most experienced sailors equipped with advanced ships.   The continents themselves are incredibly varied in their climates and ecosystems. From the sprawling temperate forests of the Draconis Peninsula to the lush rainforests of Chandraggas and the icy, inhospitable expanse of the Barrens, each region offers a distinct landscape that supports its own unique flora and fauna.
