Jurbork

Overview

Jurbork is a large town that sits on a lake and along a river that feeds into that lake. The town is a major stop on the trade route that comes from the heartland of Polsk and continues both north towards Rubinaskraigo and northwest towards Klusy. The town is ruled by the Baronas Gintautus Vilbutas.

Tavern: Orestas' Inn

Owner: Orestas (a short and squat human man with short curly brown hair and a thick brown mustache who looks like he's in his late thirties) Location: In the market district. The street outside is full of market stalls. Description: The tavern is a brick rowhouse, with a heather-thatched roof and overgrown hedges. It contains curtains draped over the walls. Menu Specials: • Roasted Duck served with mashed parsnips • Potato dumplings filled with ground pork and topped with bacon and gravy • Hand pie filled with meat, vegetables, and cheese curds served with an order of potato pancakes.

Blacksmith: Defender's Grindstone

Owner: Remi Touchard (Tooch-arr) (a tall and wiry half-elf with long black hair and a thin mustache and goatee who speaks with a heavy accent. Location: In the market district. The street outside has a crowd watching street performers. Description: The blacksmith is a simple marble stone building with an orange shingled roof and roughly hewn wooden furniture. Special:

General Store: The Rope and Haul

Owner: Anika (a thin, older human woman with short grey hair who has a very warm and inviting voice) Location: In the market district and on the edge that is closest to the eastern gate. The street outside is often bustling and noisy. Description: The general store is a single story wooden building with a tanned wooden roof and simple furniture. It contains cobwebs in the corners.

Alchemist: Prismatic Visions

Owner: Galkina (a female Yurinovic gnome with long blond hair that is usually in braided pigtails who speaks with a slight Yurinovic accent and wears a pair of copper-rimmed spectacles) Location: In a well-lit avenue close to the towns walls with some large trees that shade the shop Description: The alchemist is a stucco single storey building with large windows and a large cellar. It is well-lit by large lanterns. It contains a small wood oven. Specials:

Jeweler: The Ruby Necklace

Owner: Laima (a short and plump female Miskunian human with shoulder length blond hair who speaks softly and looks like she's in her early thirties) Location: In the market district near the town square where the town crier reads the latest news and gossip and adjacent to a small office. Description: The jeweler is in a circular stone building with a green tile roof and well-made furniture on the inside. It contains a number of small braziers and beaded gems hanging from the rafters.
