Jarldom of Mörgströnd
The Jarldom of Mörgströnd is one of the many jarldoms of Jardersfell. It is located on the western coast on the island of Hjartland on a relatively skinny stretch of land between the Mikillvit Mountains and Skanetgat sea area. The jarldom is ruled by Jarl Eystein The Sea Dog who rules in Hafnar, the largest city in the region.
Demography and Population
The population of the Jarldom of Mörgströnd is primarily Jardersfolk with a large minority of Stenras who come down from their natural home in the mountains and a small minority of Vakanir dwarves who set up camps to travel into the mountains to set up mining settlements.
Agriculture & Industry
Fishing, hunting, and animal husbandry are the primary agricultural industries of the jarldom. Pigs, oxen, and sheep are the primary livestock of the area with pigs and sheep being more common because of the lack of flat pastures. The primary products of hunting in this jarldom are venison, furs, and hides.
