Mikillvit Mountains
The Mikillvit Mountains are a mountain range on the southern part of the island of Hjartland in Jardersfell. The mountains contain sharp and high peaks in the center that soften and shorten as they move outward. Several fjords begin the mountains and move towards the seas and create wooded valleys were many towns and villages have been founded.
One of the most important features of the Mikillvit Mountains is that they are the home of the largest number of Stenras in Jardersfell. The Stenras have set up a few settlements in the mountains, but they primarily travel around the mountains in nomadic bands hunting game and other mountain creatures.
The Mikillvit Mountains serve as the primary border between the Jarldom of Fjellskygge and the Jarldom of Mörgströnd.
