T.S. Janrall
T.S. Janrall is a Hyperion - Class Worldship Carrier that visited the Arcturus galaxy. There was, reportedly, a precursor artifact located on a world near the Alti Dominion. Using Miasi territory, it reached the flank of the Alti - Miasi front. It went around the front.
T.S. Janrall obtained the artifact for study; it went on board the ship.
What they did not know, however, was this very artifact would only bring doom to them all.
The artifact was a Ghost Tether. As one person died on the ship from old age, they turned into a Ghost. Soon after, everyone on the ship was killed and turned into ghosts. T.S. Janrall itself remains fully operational, except its QECs were destroyed. It now aimlessly roams the void around the galaxy. You can never predict where it will be in a year's time. The Hyperion Federation, knowing full well the danger of Ghost Tethers, did not dare to recover it. Nowadays, the 'ghost ship' of T.S. Janrall wanders around the Arcturus galaxy seemingly aimlessly. Some factions perceive it as a threat because it attacks them, inviting boarders to land on the ship, but the worldship will always leave soon after. There have been attempts to destroy it, both by the HF and by other factions but they have not been successful, possibly due to the ghost tether somehow improving the performance of its shield and armour. Even tachyon cannons and Hyper-Taidakic Anti-ship RKM have failed to destroy it. Its QEC connection to the rest of the HF was also severed, so they cannot send a self destruction order to the ship.
