T.S. Dawn of Annihilation
A Hyperion - Class Worldship Carrier of the Hyperion Federation.
It was the 3rd Hyperion - Class ever built. The Dawn of Annihilation is one of the most elite ships of its class as well, being constructed shortly after the introduction of the Hyperion - class starships and still in use to this day. It has been upgraded a large number of times as new technologies were released, such as improved antimatter fuel energy density. Although it has participated in virtually all major wars after its introduction, T.S. Dawn of Annihilation has been mostly used against the Cypher Dominion as it's crew is most experienced with the CD as an enemy.
The Dawn of Annihilation, like most Hyperion - Class starships, is armed primarily with a massive fighter compliment. These have been used to destroy many enemy positions from very long range. The Dawn has spearheaded many assaults and has earned a reputation for having a skilled crew. To further reduce its chance of being destroyed by an enemy, it typically remains further behind HF lines than most other ships of its class, but is able to provide excellent fire support in a very large area despite this. Due to its massive service time, there have still been times where the ship was under significant threat, especially during major enemy offensives. In some cases, some subspatial starships have ambushed it which have caused great damage to the ship, but the experienced crew knows how to repel these ships from thet Dawn. They usually launch a number of fighters at various weak points. Most subspatial starships are not equipped to destroy a large number of fighters, and are usually weakly armoured. The Dawn can deploy such a force very quickly when it needs to, which gives it an excellent survival change against this doctrine of subspatial starship ambushes. This has caused enemy subspatial starships to mostly avoid the Dawn of Annihilation specifically. The Dawn has destroyed thousands of CD ships in its service, which is one of the highest kill counts of any HF starship. In one case, it withstood a powerful attack. A Cypher Dominion assault intended to capture part of the Ilioneus galaxy was launched. As the Dawn launched fighters to disable the CD capital ships, the HF sent many anti light ships and then easily repelled the attack.
