Ovora TX6
Homeworld of the Drimax United Systems.
Ovora TX6 sees little rain and what rain it does see is not comprised of water. The planet is almost entirely covered by desert. There is still life here, with much grass around despite the conditions. It is a mostly flat world so it can be harder for larger creatures to hide.
However, the sand is comprised largely of materials that can be used by life. For example, one of the most common forms of sand is black and mostly carbon. Furthermore, the poles are much more forgiving, being a much lower temperature and able to support larger trees.
Although there is a notable lack of water, all lifeforms on this planet have evolved to use chemicals that are not water. In fact, water is poisonous to some species such as Drimax.
The planet also has a strong magnetic field because of it's very magnetic core. Solar flares have never reached the surface. Drimax civilization was largely impacted by these factors. They have to dig deeper, through much softer material, to reach and extract metal ores. Hunting was made easier by the lack of cover.
In more current times the world is rarely visited by aliens. There is not much to see on this planet and it is very hot.
