Omega Deur System

Star system owned by the Yunkad Coalition, a member nation of the Hyperion Federation. Omega Deur is significant because it contains the planet Yunkadia, the Yunkad homeworld.   As Omega Deur is a class F star, and therefore much brighter than Sol, Yunkadia is located a larger distance from its parent star.   The Omega Deus system, surprisingly, only has a single ice giant. There are primarily rock planets, and relatively few gas giants. This has given the Yunkad Coalition a lot of valuable resources from the very beginning of their space age. The system also has 2 large asteroid belts, one of which is between the 2nd and 3rd planets, and the other between 8 and 9. These, too, have proven quite lucrative for the Yunkad Coalition. They have also provided many opportunities for defence, and as such, the Omega Deur system is deemed as well defended even for a HF star system. With the construction of a large ring world megastructure around the star, the HF also produces a large amount of antimatter here.
