Kevra II b
Planet located in the Kevra System, which is owned by the Alti Dominion.
Kevra II b is a habitable world much like its binary 'sister' planet, Kevra II a. Although Kevra II b is the homeworld of the Drailad species, the Alti have conquered it by force with relative ease. Of course, the Traxilax did not delay to oppress these primitive peoples, somewhat aggravating some factions such as the Hyperion Federation.
Kevra II b also has a number of small oceans and many rivers. Most of the planet is covered in forest, as well as a few small deserts in various locations. Huge volcanoes and mountains are seen on some tectonic plate boundaries as well, which can easily lead to natural disasters. Like Kevra II a, Kevra II b's 'moon' is the other planet in the Kevra II binary system. Kevra II a has a significant impact on the world's tides, and life. It is very unlikely that life from one world has impacted the other until the Alti conquest. This is theorized because there are almost no similarities between life across the 2 planets. The planet is mostly covered in forest, rather than ocean like Kevra II a.
Kevra II b also features a number of massive trees which appear to defy many known laws of biology and structural engineering. It was later found by the Alti that the trees are supported by a specially designed type of wood with extreme structural integrity. Such a species of tree is unlikely to have evolved naturally on Kevra II b, implying that life on the planet was created by an alien force. Further evidence of this theory can be observed very easily as the immense trees are significantly larger than all other species of trees on the planet - no other tree species has ever grown close to the height of the lowest leaves of the immense trees... Because of the trees, and highly enigmatic drailiad, Kevra II b has become a point of interest for some groups of Alti scientists, as well as those of the HF trying to understand the drailiad species and their origins. Despite this, the sheer amount of defences in the Alti system prevents the HF from launching espionage operations easily, and they are often forced to determine what they can from a very long distance away. This is often done using tachyon radars, but this technique is only so precise. Live drailiad have been captured by HF forces outside of the Kevra system though, to free them from Alti slavery. These people are often studied by the HF, and the two groups show fascination with the other. The HF ensures that their medical experiments are non lethal and as painless as possible, in return for allowing the drailiad to settle on some HF planets. Currently, there are only 2 planets in HF territory that feature the drailiad's specific reproduction plant, and even then only in small numbers, so they are usually placed on one of these worlds.
