Sharks
To everyone else they are simply sharks. Either Sand-Shark or Sea-Shark's, even though it may feel weird to make the distinction from a Sea-Shark as opposed to just a shark, it's an important one. But the proper way and preferred way to address them is either Sandborn or Seaborn, but this is something that is forgotten by most.

History
Before they were changed, they were just ordinary sharks. Pets or more closely friends, to the prince of Serferine. After the battle at the palace, they all woke up in different places, some in the water and some on land. Confused about what had happened, they instinctively went back to the palace. It was deserted, and people who saw them ran i fear. It was some time before someone explained to them the details of the event. At first they were together, angry and trying to determine what their next move was. But the Sand-Shark's had began having more positive reactions with humans than their sea cousins. And it got to a point they just couldn't agree any more, the Seaborn retreated into the deep and the Sandborn moved into the deserts.
