Felinor
Cat Kingdom
Felinor is the home of the cat race, They originated from far to the north, in lands long lost to Nalsai invaders. while they have long since been chased from their homeland, they remember their suffering, and they remain bitter about it.
Administration
Felinor is a kingdom, and the king rules his realm with the help of dukes. They are a proud and regal people, and they respect nobility, their various noble families, and the royal family above all.
Lower-ranking nobles or junior children, who have no chance of ever inheriting titles, often end up in clerical leadership, which in turn reinforces the idea that nobles are holy people.
Economy
The cat race, contrary to popular belief, is not carnivorous like their animal counterparts; they consume an omnivorous diet. Still, they produce a large amount of meat products, particularly pork and pork products. Their cured, salted, and smoked hams and sausages are sold all over the continent. They also keep llamas.
The plant portion of their diet largely consists of nuts and seeds, all of which they produce in great amounts and export when possible.
Foodstuffs only make up a small amount of the royal income, however, for they have much more valuable resources within their borders. Namely, the vast tin and copper deposits in the mountains to their east, which they process into bronze, bronze utilities, and luxury products. Their mountains also contain a range of other metals, but their earnings from the bronze industry make up around 60% of all mining earnings.
History
The cat race is the longest living of all Felmer races, and as such, they have the longest memories.
Those memories are filled with loss and resignation, for their homeland was once in another place.
They originate from the forests to the north, in modern-day Lanisai and Noldai.
They were chased from those lands over the course of many centuries of war agains the Nalsai, but the final battle where they were kicked out of the region took place over a thousand years ago, and in that most bloody conflict and entire lineage of cats was exterminated, and what was left fled down south, across the mountains, until they settled in what is now their northern forest.
This history of death and defeat has left them embittered and with a desire to build a new life in the south.
They did so at the expense of the Rat race, who had called the plains of the south home before the Cat race arrived, and they have clashed with them ever since.
Culture
The cats are a proud and individualistic people. They value independence, self-sufficiency, and loyalty.
They live in nuclear families, where a couple raises their children and teaches them all they can. When reaching adulthood, these children will leave home quickly to start their own life. They will often continue to practice the craft they learned from their parents, but in their own way.
Their parents might give them some starting capital, but they are mostly expected to figure it out themselves.
Some might see this as abandonment, but the Felinorians take pride in their ability to make their own life, and to be self-sufficient. In their culture, it would be considered shameful to rely on one's parents to survive long after reaching adulthood.
Once they have left, they will keep in occasional contact with their parents, and sometimes their siblings, but over time, their focus will shift to their own partner, their own children, and the life they build for themselves.
They are fiercely loyal to their significant other, and they nearly always stay together their whole lives.
warriors
The legacy of war has never been forgotten, and Felinorians all learn to fight to some degree. Many serve in the military for at least a few years, and the Felinorian is among the most skilled in the world. In single combat, any Felinorian warrior would beat most other warriors.
Magic
The felinorians adhere to the philosophy of adaptation.

The main center of magical knowledge lies in Montanoi, but they have outposts in all major cities. They seek to educate all those capable of magic as best they can. By nature, Adaptation is a balanced philosophy, and while they try to teach all aspects of magic, they often let students choose which side they prefer, whether that be academia or combat.
All mages are taught to be thankful to Lita, the bear goddess of all Felmer people, and to venerate the gift she has bestowed upon them. This teaching, and this cultural belief, is also why many mages, especially the older ones, choose a life in the temples.
There are some who would abuse their power, and they are named savages, and cast out from society. They live in exile deep within the mountains.
Capital: Villuenne
Cities: Melenne, Montanoi, Misque
Population: ~3 Million
International Relations
Felinors closest alliance is with the nation of Xamylkar, this is simply do to frequently alligning interests, and common enemies.
Felinor's main rival is the rat republic of Rodentia, who are allied to Borlandia, which is in turn the main rival to Xamylkar.
Felinor maintains cordial ties with Lupinor, and many warriors seeking glory go there to aid them in their struggles in their historical enemy.
The felinorians feel a kinship with the wolves, for they can relate to the suffering and oppression at the hands of the Nalsai.
Their relationship with their eastern neighbour, Asamakh, is shaky to say the least. There have been factions within Asamakh that wished to contest Felinor's claim to the mountains and the metals contained within, which has led to armed conflict at times.
Not only does this threaten Felinor's claim to metal, but it also endangers their mountain trade route to Brunaetak, which was constructed with great effort and is now quite important to the Felinorian Economy.
Feedback is always Welcome!

Who was it that drove them out of their previous homeland? Since they are still bitter, I presume that they are still angry at this particular group / race of people. How does that effect their current political standing in the world? And if the other races don't live as long, does the offender recall having committed this crime?
it were the nalsai who drove them from their homeland, who then created the nations of Noldai and Lanisai where the felinorians once lived, i suppose i should clarify that a bit better.
