The Obsidian Monestary

The Obsidian Monastery stands as a solemn and enduring sanctuary for followers of the Obsidian Path. Located in Ebonshire Its architecture reflects the values of the faith: simplicity, humility, and resilience. The building is a sprawling structure with black-tiled roofs that shimmer faintly under the light of the moon, giving the impression of an endless night sky.

Despite its size, the monastery’s design is austere, eschewing excessive decoration in favor of functionality and spiritual purpose. The main hall, known as the Chamber of Shadows, is a vast, open space lit by braziers of pale white flame produced by mixing special alchemical agents into the fuel. These flames are said to symbolize the enduring fire of justice within every follower. At the center of the chamber stands a simple altar—a jagged block of black stone believed to have been touched by Obsidia herself during her earthly manifestation.

Within its walls, the monastery serves as a hub for the faithful. It houses living quarters for monks, priests, and visitors; training grounds for those who seek to defend the oppressed; and libraries filled with scrolls and records chronicling acts of rebellion and justice. The Halls of the Fallen are a particularly sacred section, where the names of martyrs and heroes of the faith are etched into the stone for eternal remembrance.
