Sinto Garlek

Sinto Garlek was a male correlian human who owns the LoBue Cantina on Abregado-Rae . Garlek ran the criminal syndicate known as the Red Flashes. Although Garlek appeared to be quite wealthy, he mainly exchanged favours, rather than credits, with his business partners.   Garlek was tall and sported short black hair and a goatee. He was often seen wearing white clothing with red flourishes and accessories.  

History

 

Introduction

  Wav'Vijiod and Kokomi Teruhashi first met Sinto Garlek when they were searching for someone to sell a Jedi Holocron to. Garlek had no interest in buying the artefact himself but he offered to direct them to someone who could if they helped him with a small job. Garlek sent the crew to The Graveyard to salvage a valuable transponder. To ensure the job was done well, he sent one of his bouncers Kampl with them. The crew returned with the transponder and Garlek fulfilled his end of the deal. He arranged a meeting for them with Nitin'Tirgalo, an associate of Grakkus the Hutt who was known to obsess over old Jedi relics. The crew also hired Kampl, offering him better pay than Garlek had been providing.    

The Galaxy Dream

  The crew met Garlek for a second time after Kokomi contacted him in desperation while looking for information on her parents. This information turned out to be useless to the crew but they still honoured the arrangement and did one more job for him. Garlek had the crew track a rival of his, Aria Kandore, on her journey aboard "The Galaxy Dream".  

Suspect

  When the crew decided they were going to hunt The Virile Chain, Wav contacted Garlek. He asked Garlek to gather what information he could about its leaders as a favour. Garlek agreed under his usual conditions. When Kampl was unexpectedly taken by the empire the following day, the crew grew suspicious of anyone who might have betrayed them, including Sinto Garlek.
These fears were later reinforced when Wav interpreted a memory (shown to him by Kriek Savos) of himself, Kokomi, and Kampl boarding the Galaxy Dream.
