Wav'vijiod, a male Twi'lek, was the intrepid captain of
The Crimson Storm.
Wav'vijiod had a scar across his left eye and cerulean blue skin. Wav wore an open trenchcoat over a gray single-breasted shirt. Over time wav upgraded his body with cybernetics including an appraiser's eye, synthetic legs, and a mechanical red arm.[1]
Occasionally, he would work alongside other independent smugglers. One such smuggler was Keth Cahob, a gunslinging human from Mygeeto. Cahob once came to Wav because he needed help on a job. After negotiating a fair cut, Wav agreed to help. But the deal was cut short when the cargo they were transporting turned out to be a group of two dozen slaves. Cahob attempted to convince Wav that the job was worthwhile, that the client buying the slaves would be able to set them up for life if they continued to work with them. Wav refused to take part in the transaction and the two ended up fighting. Both were significantly wounded but Wav stood as the victor. He left Cahob unconscious, took the advance payment and freed the slaves. Much later, Wav discovered that The Virile Chain were the clients and that they had enslaved Cahob as punishment for his failure. Wav lay low on Coruscant for a while after the incident with Cahob. The experience had rubbed him the wrong way and it was a few years before he returned to the smuggling lifestyle. Shortly after, however, he met Kokomi Teruhashi and invited her to be his first-mate.

History
Early Life
Wav was born on Ryloth in 8 BGE. Shortly after the end of the clone wars, during his adolescence, his parents gave him away to a particularly vile imperial officer to whom he became enslaved. Years later Wav would escape, killing his captor in the process.The Lone Smuggler
In the years following his escape, Wav'vijiod acquired a YT-1300 Corellian freighter and named it The Crimson Storm.
