The Veil (T͟Hē vāl)

The Veil is the name given to a strange property of the Veiled realms. When seen from the outside, be it from the deep ethereal, outside of the material plane or any other way in which one could potentially see inside these realms, they will be hidden; camouflaged to appear as nothing more than some sort of visual illusion. Those who witness this effect, no matter how powerful, would entirely miss this reality and simply think nothing of it, believing to have simply seen a nebula or some cosmic Aurora. This effect came to be from the blessing of Aurelion Sol, The Star Forger, who wished for this realm to bear his draconic kin free of exterior interferences.   Unfortunately he could not have predicted that his veil would one day be weakened by all the magic his kin had spread throughout the planes. This allowed many entities of many natures to notice and enter the realms for a time, becoming new powerful threats to his offspring while shaping the world into what it is today.
