Xander Langdon

Xander has pale olive skin with bright red hair that always appears tousled. His eyes are an amber color, always staring right through you. His build is heavily muscular, where his shirt seems strained against his muscles. Xander stands over six feet tall, towering over the other Alphas. His energy is described as being an "alpha aura", giving powerful vibes and an overly domineering attitude, but Xander is really soft around those he cares about.   He mostly wears the green military uniform given to all Warriors and Elite Warriors in the pack. His uniform is decorated with military honors and decorations as well as his ranking. A pair of shiny black leather boots and a black leather belt help offer some color to the uniform.   When Xander goes to an Alpha Meeting, he wears a crisp white suit jacket with gold accents and buttons over a satin black button-up shirt, black dress pants, and shiny black leather dress shoes. He completes his look with a gold earring in his right ear.

Xander was born an only child of the Langdon Family. While he does descend from Alpha blood, he is not destined for Alpha-ship, or so he once thought. His mom adored him and spent her last few years alive spoiling him with as much love as possible. His father, on the other hand, despised him, cursing him as a product of annoyance, calling him a problem child. When Xander was three, he walked into his parents' bedroom to find his mom playing a game with a rope. He tried to get her attention, but no matter what he did, she would not wake. As Xander would grow older, he would learn that she committed suicide due to the amount of times his father slept around on her. Losing his mom left him deeply scared, afraid of causing the same trauma to his future mate. After everything, his father was forced to raise him.   Shortly after Xander turned ten, his father took him out of the pack and sold him to a group of rogues to extra coin. Xander hardly remembers what happened, but he knows it hurt, especially in his nether region. Eventually, Alpha Rold Langdon found out that Xander was missing and sent search parties out for him. The pack discovered a den of rogues and killed them all, rescuing anyone who was held captive, including Xander. Alpha Rold took Xander under his wing, wanting to keep his great nephew safe from the dangers of the outside world.   Two years later, Xander witnessed Melissa Langdon exiting her father's room, wailing in agony. He rushed to her side and saw a sight that gutted him -- Alpha Rold was beheaded. With no other heir, Melissa was forced to ascend to the title of Alpha until she met her mate. Xander watched as she did her duty to keep the pack safe and in the mean time, began training for the Elite Warrior Ceremony to become an Elite Warrior, the strongest of fighters in the pack. After five years of training, Xander was ready to compete. The trials are grueling and dangerous, where Xander barely passes them. The end battle resulted in Xander picking an Elite Warrior to challenge to replace. He chose his father as the first act of many in his revenge plan toward his father. After the battle that lasted a full night, Xander won and forced his father to step down into an early retirement from the battlefield. Xander rises through the ranks, surging further than the average Elite Warrior. Melissa recognizes his talent and offers him to become her Beta at the age of twenty while she takes on some Luna duties for the pack.   Three years go by when Melissa finally meets her mate, Alpha Zach of the Onyxcrest Pack. She reluctantly has to let go of her connection to the Blue Moon Pack, and make Xander step up in line to be the Alpha due to him being the last eligible member of the Langdon family to have Alpha blood. Xander is uncomfortable with his new position, but he takes things in stride and works hard to make the pack the strongest in all the Winterfang Territories. Despite his new title, Xander refuses to punish his father, rather enjoying the sight of seeing his father squirm whenever he's around. In the mean time, Xander continues looking for his mate, hoping that the Alpha Council won't pressure him into a forced mate-bond while he spends all his other time focusing on the War of the Eternal Soul with the Stadia Kingdom.

Xander has never understood why he doesn't find any female attractive. Every time he's flirted with, Xander rejects their offer and continues about his day. But he has noticed that he finds himself looking at some of male Warriors' behinds when they're training.

Xander is extremely sensitive when he talks about his mom. Finding her dead at such a young age and not being familiar with the concept of death left Xander blaming himself for not seeing the signs. He wishes he could have done something to help her.   When he was sold to the rogues, Xander learned what control was and how to survive it. He spent weeks trapped in a visceral hell of the rogues' concubine alongside other captives; he wasn't the only pup subjected to the trauma. To this day, he cannot stand the sight of a pup being wronged.   Alpha Rold's death is another curse on his memory. He knew that his great-uncle was being targeted by assassins and yet, he failed to do the one thing he promised himself -- watch over his great-uncle in case the assassins attacked. Instead, Xander found himself staring at another dead body of someone he cared about and feeling utterly useless in being able to protect them.
