Kykla, goddess of Dragons (Kai - kk - lah)
TW: Incest
ykla is considered a betrayer deity among all celestials, leaving her banished from the Aelisos realm and trapped in the Underworld. Despite her punishment, Kykla has sought peace and freedom through her acolytes. Alongside her father, Rhihius, god of War, and faithful archdragons, Kykla keeps her sanity and plots. Her secrets are hers to keep, though rumors have started to surface.
Divine Domains
Kykla is the holder of loyalty, compassion, and elemental domains.
Artifacts
A silver apple wrapped in barbed wire is said to be a creation of hers, though its story is long forgotten. A jeweled crescent moon has started to appear as a token of love to her secret affair, Astia, goddess of the Moon.
Holy Books & Codes
All books containing Kykla's scripture can be seen bound in black leather with a red dragon head etched into it. The books are always blessed by the head priests and priestesses of the Acolytes of Kykla to only open by the hands of a dragonthorn.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The most notable symbol of Kykla is a simple dragon skull, often seen with ruby or onyx gems embedded into its eyes. Her sigil is of four lines creating a M-shape and a S-shape curving through the middle of the M with a diamond shape at the very top to create a simplistic dragon form.
Tenets of Faith
- Those who put loyalty over justice will be rewarded.
- Always be patient when betrayed, as karma seeks her new victim.
- Trust in those you love. If they break your trust, their punishment will come. Be ready.
Holidays
Kykla has only a single holiday, one rooted in darkness and pain. It is called the Festival of Moonlight, which is celebrated on the 22nd to the 26th of Oeq each year as a reminder that her love for Astia cannot be made true.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
- Reveal her traitors. Prove her innocence.
- Find happiness where a broken heart resides.

Kykla can use all types of dragon elemental breaths, ranging from fire to thunder to even shadow and nature. She can also using her hands to summon elemental abilities.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Despite their forced separation, Astia and Kykla worked together to bring about a prophecy that involved two individuals from each of their respected races -- werewolf and dragonthorn -- to hopefully restore peace between the realms.
Astaroth Angelus is a young dragonthorn full of promise. She allows Astia to watch over him while also gifting him a rare archdragon as his inner dragon and guardian.
Kane Sullivan was granted to her by Astia. While he's a powerful Alpha-level werewolf, he has a gentle spirit. She is ever watchful of him, taking time to spiritually meet with him and make sure things are going smoothly for him. She can't wait for the day he meets his little Luna.
Family Ties
In most written histories of celestial family trees there is a bit of incest, and this godly family is no exception to that rule.
Lover
Astia, goddess of the Moon, is the only celestial that Kykla truly trusts. They are secret lovers that are forced to keep their relationship a secret as Astia is married to Mykdall and Kykla is banished to the Underworld. Astia is known as Kykla's aunt.Allies
Ontuna, goddess of Storms, is the cousin of Kykla and a loyal ally in her never-ending quest to prove her innocence. While Ontuna is known for her mischievousness, Kykla leans toward loyalty and honesty above all out. Rhihius, god of War, is Kykla's father and devoted ally. He believes her innocence as he too was blamed for bringing chaos and violence to Aelisos, and ended up banished as a result.Neutral
Drara, goddess of Nature, is the mother of Kykla, who knows that her mother never takes sides. They rarely interact now that Kykla was sent to the Underworld as punishment for disobeying Gesyn's orders. Thodis, goddess of Night, has no qualms with Kykla and they do their own things. As the aunt of Kykla, she is wise not to get involved with anything Kykla does.Rivals
Culios, god of Flames, is a rival of Kykla, destined to butt heads over the power of fire and who had it first. While they often clash over that, they still care for one another as they are cousins. Ynva, goddess of Death, is the grandmother of Kykla, and a powerful celestial that command death. Kykla views her power as both dangerous and aw-inspiring. They have built a friendly rivalry between each other, often playing pranks or having contests to see who can outlast the other.Enemies
Gesyn, god of Justice, and Mykdall, god of the Sun, are her natural enemies, having plotted against her to have her banished. However, Gesyn is the head of the gods -- and her grandfather -- and sought to keep those disobeyed him hidden away, forever remembered as betrayers. She is just unlucky to be one of his victims. Mykdall is her uncle, and the husband of Astia. The two cannot stand one another, seeing the latter as a threat to their status and happiness. Kykla knows that Mykdall is cruel toward Astia, suppressing her true power and making her submissive to him. For this, Kykla has vowed to usurp him one day and prove that dragons are not the enemy as the sun proclaims.Relationships
