Archdragon

rchdragons are an ancient species who transcended the mortal realm and into the godly domain, where they became guardians of the dragon goddess, Kykla. At any given time, an archdragon is seen with the goddess, never leaving her side, even when she wishes to be alone. They are said to know all of her secrets, including her most dangerous and forbidden ones.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Like dragons, they can have multiple shapes. Serpents with no wings but still able to fly, four to six-limbed beasts with giant wings that spread twice the length of their bodies. Their bones are surprisingly light, matching the hollowness of a bird's bones.

Additional Information

Average Intelligence

Archdragons are smarter than dragons, earning this as a blessing from Kykla too. They can carry conversations with ease, and detect when someone is lying based upon their heart rate or breathing. Though, they are not above being tricked. However, an archdragon will never forget if you have tricked them in some way.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

While all dragons are capable of using a single element, archdragons are often touched by the divine light of their goddess, granting them access to an additional element of their choosing. Their eyes are able to adjust to darker areas, making pitch black rooms seem like evening light. And they can shift their body into varying sizes to accommodate for the size of a room or the height of a cavern.
