Challengathon, A Year of Challenges
Challenge yourself; it's the only path which leads to growthEvery month of the year at World Anvil, we strive to test ourselves when any challenge comes along to prove how far we can go in our writing and the wonders that we bring to our readers. While much of our free time is to allow us to explore and take our time with what we want to write, now and then, we need a focus to help us get our ideas into a solid space, and that is what challenges are for: to keep us grounded and focused on one idea and the amount of time needed to complete it. Now, fo all of you still here, I would like to formally welcome you to the event that will be going on all year round, for all to join and share in the worldbuilding thrills, with a challenge to come around every month to test your metal in each of them. This will be where all fun or frustration begins, as there will be moments where I will be vague about what you will use as prompts. Now, without further due, let's direct your eyes below to the list of what will be going on this year and where to start whenever you want each month.
Let it Shine
For this whole challenge, we will have a lot of badges for you to show off at the podium when you reach the finish line for how many challenges you want to do this whole year. Each one will come out at the end of each month, and you can claim at any time through the respective page. It can also be found on this page to see everyone's progress with the competition. It will be a great way to show comradery to those who have also participated and do a little bragging here and there that were a part of this momentous event.January - Transformation

- This twelve-month challenge will go about different challenges with a different theme each month. Each month will come with a different badge for each month and don't worry, you don't have to do each month to earn that month's badge, but if you do, you'll get a special badge for being a refined completionist.
- All work must be credited and posted on the assigned challenge page, and for the completionist, you must add all your entries into one page to receive it.
Learn Thy Rules
- Articles must be dated during each challenge!
- The article must be public and published. Only one can be done per person!
- Use whatever article prompt you want
- English is preferred, it can be translated if written in another language
- No minimum, no maximum! ( Just don't let it drag on for too long).
- There will be nothing racial or bigotry in the story but mark your work as NSFW or give a warning if using dark tones and themes.
- Place your article in the comments and the challenge article in your article to spread the word.
- Each Article Must be sent by the end of the challenge period before Midnight and no asking for an extended deadline!
