Memorial May, Remembering The Past

Cherished memories, forever cherished
While every life has death, such is the great cycle that brings balance to all things, but that does not mean that one cannot hold on to the memory of those who came before them. It is a universal desire to pay tribute to one's ancestors and family for all they have done to have their children where they are now. Though their passing may be difficult and the pain may never honestly go away, while their deaths may be brutal and the pain may linger, we will continue to cherish the lessons and love they imparted as long as we remember them.. It is why on the days we lost them to tragedy or naturally, we pay our respects to them to keep their memories alive and all they have achieved for all those they have affected throughout their life. Those bonds will never fade so long as those who maintain them through those memories keep them close and strong.

Paying Tribute

Today may seem sad, but do not let sorrow overcome you in the warmth of a loved one you have lost to the passage of time, for they still live in you with all the love and lessons they taught you. It is why there is no better way than to honor them, to pay tribute to them in any way that you can, whether it may be a shrine or a yearly celebration of their life. With love comes loss; that is the price that we all must pay sooner or later when forging bonds with one another. But now we must tend to our own and honor the dearly departed in the way we see fit, and to remember this day, we shall wear a badge that we will hold onto in honor of this day. Let it be known from this day to the end of days as a time to honor the departed, to carry on their memory, to ensure that they never truly die by being forgotten no matter how long time has passed.
