Hoverboard

Hoverboards are a recreational and transportation tool that is commonly used. They are popular amongst the teens of Jana and are useful for short-distance travel. Their original design was developed by the I'lix Coalition, but on the planet the Hover Tech is powered by Tri-Cores as they are a much cheaper alternative when building one. They are capable of doing flips, floating up inclines and carrying roughly 100 - 120 Kg (265 lbs.).   An original creation by the Alharians which derives from the Hoverboard is Solarboards. This version of the device is wrapped in a layer of Solar Fabric and Alharian Insulated Fabric. On the Alharian side of Jana solarboards never wear out, but it does tax the Tri-Core battery heavily if used too frequently or if exposed to the elements for long periods of time. The Solarboards are also faster as they are capable of moving at full speed at all times. They are the preferred board type by Aerokour enthusiasts.   High-End versions of the board are capable of Omni-directional movements, have safety straps, play speaker music, and a functional AI to prevent them from being used for assault or incredibly risky maneuvers. These are often imported or produced by industry retail stores. Several brands have designed their own style of Hover/Solarboard and are often priced additionally for carrying their names.   Low-End versions of the board can move forwards and backward in the direction it is facing. To turn them the user must kick or lean in a direction to alter its driving. They often do not possess any safety protocols and are made from recycled scrap metals. They require maintenance to ensure the elements do not tear them apart but their overall prices are affordable to the common people.
