Templorem Coraxia
"Tristia est clavus ad sancticca!" A proud death lights the path to sanctity. The words of the Templorem Coraxia. There are no words more important to this holy order. As devout followers of the Raven Queen, they see death as the natural end for all, one that will lead them to her in the afterlife. There are none so zealous as the Raven Knights. The military order has led countless battles for the Empire of Coraxia all in the name of the Raven Queen.
Structure
- Although the Templorem Coraxia is a military order, it is a religious brotherhood at heart and as such it is ruled by holy men. At the very top of the order is the Raven Queen herself, but as she is a god she has a mortal representative who is considered the head of the order. The title given to this leader is Imperator and he leads the Templorem Coraxia into battle and runs the day to day administration of the order.
- Second to the Imperator is are his High Strategos. There can only be seven at any given time, and a Strategos serves for life.
- After the Strategos are the Administratores, these act as administrative councillors to the Imperator, running the day to day business of the Templorem Coraxia when he is occupied with war or other business.
- Templars are the everyday soldiers of the Templorem Coraxia. They are elite warriors that serve, and protect Corax and her people in the name of the Raven Queen. Although they are not large in number (with there currently being merely 9,850 serving Templars), they make up for that with sheer religious fervour and overwhelming might.
- Though he does not directly run the Templorem Coraxia, the Empress of Coraxia has a great say in the day to day running of the order, with him being considered the chosen of the Raven Queen and the head of the faith.
Public Agenda
The Templorem Coraxia seek to serve and protect the nation of Coraxia and city of Corax in the name of their god, the Raven Queen. It is their duty to aid the Empress in any wars that she declares or has declared upon her, and it is also their honourable to help the Order of the Royal Raven in guarding him and keep out of him harm's way.
The order also has an intense hatred for the undead and would do anything to rid the world of their foul kind and any who would wish to bring them upon the world.
