Structure
The Queen or King of Sendilar rules the Kingdom with full executive authority. Beneath the Monarch is the Knights Council that is comprised of one member of each of the Knightly Orders, selected by the Duke or Duchess who maintains that Order. The Knight's Council act as advisors to the Monarch and as the Legislative branch of government.
The Kingdom is divided into Seven Duchies. Six are still active with the Duchy of Lann having administrative control passed to the Duchy of Schild. Each Duke/Duchess of Sendilar administers their lands and maintains the Knightly Order required of them per The Writ.
Culture
High stock is placed in honor and integrity. The Leaders of the Kingdom are to be persons of unimpeachable character. While scheming and politicing is known to happen those that engage in are expected to do so in an honorable fashion. Public sentiment turns to rage very quickly in Sendilar if one is to have been found to besmirched their honor or broken their oath.
Assets
Sendilar is a wealthy and prosperous nation. Her treasuries are full, her warehouses and military stores are full as well. She boasts one of the largest naval and land forces maintained by a single nation or city/state in the entire continent. Sendilar also possess more then a few magic items. At least one each possessed by each duchy and the Monarch. It is speculated that more such items have been found or procured over the centuries.
History
After the Fall Isabella Reving, the Imperial Provincial Governor of the Sendilar Province, convinced the senior military leaders in her Province that the Empire had truly fallen. With their support the Writ of Sendilar was drafted, ratified and signed in 2 AF. It declared the Empire had fallen and established the Kingdom of Sendilar as a Nation. Since then it has endured attacks from outsiders but each time has proven victorious. Its reputation for honest and honorable dealings has generated many friends in other lands. Even the Citizens of Haven regard Sendilar in a positive light.
The only true internal strife the Kingdom has known is when the Duke of Lann and his son were accused posthumously of Treason. Administration of the Duchy of Lann was passed to the Duke of Schild and the Order of the Crescent Moon was disbanded. e
