Raven atop a Throne

After The Fall Isabella Reving consulted the Wrevendon on the Solstice how she could help save The Empire from from ruin. During her slumber she saw many strange and horrific things that troubled her sleep for many years to come. But one thing stayed with her until her days ended. A Raven perched upon the back of the Imperial Throne that spoke clearly for her to understand. A prophecy that would guide the rest of her life.     She told only the Captain of her guard of the vision.

In 2 AF Isabella Reving became the first Queen of Sendilar. Historians largely agree that this act was atypical for the woman who was a devout supporter of the Empire. Very few of the dozens of provincial governors attempted to make their own kingdoms, mostly due to lack of support from military assets or local citizenry. The Writ of Sendilar, according to Historians and those who study the language of such texts, was written in language that left no doubt it's signatories were in accord and agreed that the Empire had fallen and would never rise again.     Queen Isabella set the foundation for strong and vibrant nation that was built to endure. Historians have judged her actions out of character in regards to her loyalty to the Empire. They also agree that her actions did see to the long term health and safety of the people it was her duty to protect in the name of the Empire.

Very few over the past centuries know of this prophecy. Queen Isabella told her heir and that practice continued. Her captain of the Guard became the first Duke of Schild and his line followed the same practice .. To the best of their knowledge no one else is aware.

If the phrophecy ever got out it would create massive unpredictable turmoil and chaos in the entire world. News that an Heir could exist and bring about the return of the Empire would flash like wildfire. Some would treat it with joy, others horror. Those who had accrued power would feel that same power threatened. Wars would start and several aimed at Sendilar. Bring down that Kingdom and the prophecy could also fail
