Helstadt

The Helstadt Barony was founded after the lords of the area lost the control of their lands during the third Parravon war and Sir Gregor Schwarzeman was able to gather troops to help fight and keep the Parravon troops from pushing down the way towards Stimmigen. After the war was over the lands were given to Gregor to run due to his fast acting and valor in the face of death. Ever since the Schwarzemans have ruled from their estate, the Steborne Manor, where they have rallied troops in war and gather taxes from. Over the centuries they have gone between terrible leaders and great leaders though it has never gotten so bad that there have been full scale revolts during the reign of the Schwarzemans.
