The greenbacks have since been careful about expansionist tendencies to not draw too much ire though they seem set on controlling all of the bandit activity in southern Reikland. They also claim that they are a check on the power of the nobles to ensure they never get too strong.
History
The greenback outlaws were founded by Dorokor who has maintained control over the organization since. The greenbacks started small with just Dorokor and the few who decided to follow him in the beginning. The area where the greenbacks currently hold sway was held by a multitude of feuding bandit chiefs which Dorokor used to seize power knowing they would not come to each others aid. Over time the greenbacks either killed or forced the other bandits to answer to them bringing order to the area. As the Greenbacks were gathering strength they decided to seek refuge in the supposed cursed fort in the south of the region and do repairs. When the local nobles decided to put an end to the greenbacks they were met with a group who were far more skilled hten they originally believed and were repulsed. Ever since they have held the fort while adding small additions regularly and even extended a deal to the both Sigstadt and Helstadt that they will function with little interference from their military, in return they will stick to only "taxing" travelers and villages. This agreement has seen both sides use proxies against each other while the greenbacks have occasionally fought off a monster here and there to make them seem like less of a problem which has not stopped the nobles from putting bounties on members of the outlaws. The greenbacks have regularly attempted to toll the area around Ubersreik but the Red Boots have usually pushed back or they have had to deal with the military giving chase.
