Personal history
Ferran IV was the sixteenth king of Ferraria after the death of his father Geoth IV. Ferran was briefly succeeded by his son Redis II , but he died of the plague soon after ascending the throne, leading to his second son Acanth II taking the throne instead. Ferran's reign was mostly peaceful, but his final few years were troubled by the spread of the plague that killed half of his kingdom, two of his sons, and even Ferran himself.
Ferran IV was noted for his piety, devoting much of his reign to building cathedrals and monuments to the gods. He was married to Jain Rornam-Oboror.
