Personal history
Filip Tain was the son of Lar Herad Dannur Tain, the Lord of Brass and ruler of the Brumanix mountains. Filip, as the second son, was sent to study at the Yekarian colleges. When theWar of the Dragon broke out during his studies, he escaped to the keep of Bekelt, where he waited out the remainder of the war.
All three of his brothers perished during the conflict, leaving Filip as his father's heir. However, he resented his father for siding against King Pulus I and left the country. He only returned for his father's funeral in 452 PT, during the Fourth Ferrarian Civil War. However, he refused to become the new Lord of Brass, keeping neutral during the conflict. He then left Ferraria after the Treaty of Scoriga.
