Voivodeship of Krvevestec
The Voivodeship of Krvevestec is an Erleting state which emerged following the Dennonian wars. Like many of the states in the region, its founders trace their authority back to . Krvevestec, despite appearing quite strong in the first few years after its founding, has proven to be both unstable and generally weaker than its neighbors, being unable to properly assert itself. Still, should Krvevestec solve their internal issues, they would be able to field quite a powerful and sizable force of troops, as well as being a major threat to raid their neighbors.
History
The region which would later come under control of Krvevestec was one of the worst hit regions of Erleting settlement during the Dennonia Wars. As the core of Dragan Ivar's army as well as the source of a significant portion of his recruits, the region would see a huge amount of chaos as his army dissolved post-death. Although not as hard-hit as the Voivode of Thrûdn, which saw a mass of tribes passing through the area into the north, the tribes which would form Krvevestec coimbined with various warbands trying to get back home to cause chaos in the region, and it fell under control of several competing warlords and tribes. With further pressure from Alcediner armies pursing fleeing tribes into the highlands, it became even more chaotic, and was a hotbed for violence. The Blazennian Empire would push in from the other direction, forcing fleeing tribes back into the fray or be destroyed by their armies. Angry veterans took revenge for acts perpetrated upon their tribes by other warbands, tribes fought over lands they claimed, and new ones tried to force their way in, all while warlords ravaged both the land and people.
Even after the Alcediner armies withdrew from the region, future Krvevestec remained in chaos, but finally in 1980, after about 15 years of total chaos, a proper state was formed. The core of Krvevestec would be unified in 1980, and the state began reaching south by 1982, encroaching upon the lands of Sarbarve's Kingdom as well as other border tribes. In fact, the expansion of Krvevestec would eventually lead Krvevestec into a war with both Sarbarve, which they would have decisively lost if not for the attack on Sarbarve by the city-state of Rovadium, which forced Sarbarve to turn his forces back and left Krvevestec to stabilize the situation.
Over a decade, despite turmoil in the leadership position, Krvevestec managed to amass a sizable force, both of aggressive raiders and of slave soldiers. These troops were generally turned north, raiding Blazennia to obtain more slaves. In 1993, raids against Blazennia would rise in scale, leading to full scale war between the two nations over the tbd valley, which Krvevestec's rulers had coveted since their nation's foundation. Although Krvevestec made good progress after rebels rose from the Blazennian territories, and with Blazennian forces occupied in fighting their civil war, things would change. In 1995, the forced of the Kingdom of Mäzgyrazrfold prevailed against those of the previous Emperor and pursued them to the gates of the Margraviate of Fenmark; though they could not break that state they were now close enough to enforce a new order over the east and push back Krvevestec.
Despite the failure to hold the valley, Krvevestec did obtain some slaves from the war, though this proved to be too little to keep their ruler in power, leading to his overthrowal by another. This man, Voivode Visiliji Nikolich, is a former bandit, known murderer and rapist, and generally known for his cruelty. However, by amassing disgruntled raiders and members of the few favored tribes, he has built a house of cards from which to rule. Still, it remains unstable and the violent raiders could seek his removal over another failed war, the favored tribes would certainly not balk at overthrowing him if it suits their demands, and the oppressed tribes and slaves seek liberty for their people.
