The Eighth Realm is a land of great mystery and wonder. Home to over 25 distinct races, many with multiple subspecies, the Realm hosts hundreds, if not thousands, of unique cultural identities. It sits on the cusp of a period of growth and expansion the likes of which have not been seen since the time of the ancient and mysterious Primordial Races, whose mysterious (and non-functioning) technology is occasionally encountered in ancient ruins. Its people speculate on the identity of the gods, or perhaps lack of gods, spurring theological growth across the lands, but also bringing forth mighty conflicts.
The Eighth Realm, while a place of wonder and magic, can also be terrifyingly dangerous. From the depths of the Rift of Atrocity to the darkness of the Shadow Dimension and the magically irradiated landscape of Yyradayn, horror awaits those who venture forth unprepared...
