Kysli-Sahn
Kysli-Sahn is the sole Bundaran nation to not be a monarchy. Instead they stand as a theocratic state guarding the most sacred site for all Bundarans- Andreon's Rise, the first part of Yyradayn reached by the Bundarans when they first arrived (Andreon being the King and later Emperor of the Reefs). Through the years of the Andreon Kingdom/Empire Andreon's Rise remained the site of coronation for all emperors, and remains a sacred site even today with the empire long gone. The city of Kysli-Sahn served as the first seat of the Andreon Kingdom, and though it would later lose that honor it has remained the base of the religion of the Bundarans.
History
The history of Kysli-Sahn as an independent state has its roots in the Bundaran Empire itself. With Sel-Katin losing its place as capital, it became the bastion of the Bundaran clergy. This dominance by the clergy and relatively peripheral location within The Bundaran Empire prevented a growth of local nobility, and when the Empire finally crumbled it was largely ignored by the various warlord kingdoms, remaining neutral throughout the struggle. When it became clear the Empire would not be reunited, Kysli-Sahn would finally declare itself an independent state (as opposed to a representative of the crown) and carved itself out a particularly influential position as the defender of Bundaran faith.
