Estrasia
Estrasia was a region of the Kingdom of Espatrasia which roughly covered the modern nations of Pixenell and Teveska. Granted to the 2nd son of chancellor Cardebrand of the Rembolois, Carloman, it was a fairly unstable and disunited region, with Daingén river valley being the main agricultural center and thus the seat of power. Other than this valley, Estrasia was divided between various tribes and had a diverse array of terrain types as it covered from the Cloriadmen saltmarsh to the Daingén Highlands.
Ignoring internal stability issues, Carloman decided to aid his brother in Sustrasia in fighting the elder brother's domain of Oustrasia, with the two domains attacking in 1108 SC. When this prompted Nostrasia to aid Oustrasia, he ignored the northern invasion and focused on defeating Sustrasia. Although this proved helpful in succeeding in the defeat of Oustrasia, it left his domain occupied by enemy forces. Luckily, Nostrasia would soon collapse in a slave revolt- though Carloman feared the same would occur in his lands. In order to prevent this, he strengthened the government, a move which soon backfired. Having lost the support of the tribes by attempting to centralize power around himself, he was killed in an ambush in 1115, upon which Estrasia dissolved into warring tribes. The situation quickly declined further, as with the Fremedhian population killing one another the outlying regions populated by halflings and Cloriadmen humans began to fall outside of anyone's control, and eventually gaining independence.
Estrasia was briefly revived as a province of the Kingdom of Ambolaine, however it was shortly thereafter replaced by the smaller provinces of Daingén and Teveska. Teveska would eventually gain independence, and Daingén was split between Pixenell and Teveska.
