Religion in the Cradle of Worlds is very important to people, and the clerics, priests, shamans and followers find real evidence of the blessings of the gods. From miraculous healings to divine smites of holy energies. Not all gods are created equal and neither are all religions. Devotees are of a given pantheon or god, not that they believe others do not exist, but they do not believe they are as valuable to their own lives.
Several Major types of religions exist in the Cradle. First being pantheonic religions, where multiple gods are worshiped simultaneously. These include the Venetsir , The Dragon Gods and the Host of the Nomele. Others follow single entities such as the Church of the Earthstar , The Church of Erev, the Mazalurk Tribes who worship their god Horeveloze, or the Howlite Dwarves and their worship of Atil Runo. Still others worship concepts or ways of the world like the Faith of the Spirits , Ancestor Worship or the followers of Pure Reason.
Demography and Population
Priests to religions often lose their powers if they don't regularly perform rites and rituals at their devoted shrines and temples. This holds true for Druids and others who gain powers from the veneration of nature, they must periodically frequent their groves and sites of powerful ley lines. A select few have divine relics that allow the rites to be performed on the road, but these are rare and guarded.
