Ancestor Worship

Ancestor worship is particularly common among Small Folk, especially gnomes as they venerate sorcerer bloodlines. It is not incompatable to be part of ones faith even if venerating other pantheons or gods.
Ancestor worship takes several forms, for some it is shrines to their ancestors or the veneration and offerings at grave sites. Still others with fabricate tokens of the bones. In a rare case of the deep Howlite Dwarves their ancestor worship is in the undead person themselves. They are able to on occasion turn their dead relative into a sentient undead stone golem or litch.
Given the magics that manipulate souls, some dead have been bound to graveyards frequented by families and they can interact with long dead individuals. This makes it far more real and compatible with many religeons than if this was not possible. The magic to manipulate souls also means they have been known to be transfered to other bodies, though this process is generally repugnant to most who practise ancestor worship as it generally involves suffering of innocents.
