Clara Beauregard
Clara Beauregard was an Alois woman who lived in the latter part of the Fourth Era, into the Fifth Era. She was the younger sister of Marcilla Beauregard and the niece of Vihoaginio Beauregard.
Born in 8042, Beauregard grew up on her family's ranch in the Northern Commons. From an early age, she possessed a liking for painting, especially wall paintings. She once covered her family's barn with colorful scenes. Beauregard did not get along with her sister, a conflict that continued into their young adulthood. Because her sister was born in a body not congruent with her gender identity, Beauregard refused to accept her for who she was. She often found Marcy wearing her clothes, which upset her. After the passing of their father and mother, Beauregard's uncle Hoagy moved in to take care of them. At some point after this, Marcy left home, and the remaining two family members, unable to keep their land, gave it up and moved to the island of Aurora Point, where they joined a small hunting commune. At some point following their move, Beauregard was able to re-establish contact with her sister through letters. She accepted her sister for who she was, and the two became good friends. Marcy later came to save her and her uncle after the island was thrown into chaos following the accidental unleashing of Malevolence 5, a dangerous magical construct made for the Twenty-Year War. After this, she lived with her sister in the house Marcy had built for them. Beauregard continued to paint frescoes, even selling some to wealthy buyers.
